§ 10The Key™ · A Hidden Layer

The
Key.

The Key is how Coronado opens up for you. The more you take part in local life, the more it unlocks — hidden menus, private invitations, surprise perks. No points. No buying your way in. Just showing up.

A note before you read

The Key isn’t something you buy. It’s something the island gives back when you show up.

§ 10.1 — How it works

Take part.
The island opens up.

01

Participate

Show up and take part in local life. Every check-in, purchase, event and introduction counts toward your standing.

02

Unlock

Your involvement earns you access. See everything you’ve unlocked — and what’s next — right in your dashboard.

03

Enjoy

Walk in and enjoy what’s reserved for you: hidden menus, private invitations, surprise hospitality. The more you take part, the more you’re recognised.

§ 10.2 — Ways to take part

Everything
counts.

Consume and connect locally, and it adds up. The more you do, the more Coronado recognises you.

01

Check in at venues

Tap or scan when you arrive somewhere participating.

02

Scan the QR everywhere

The mark is on doors, tables and windows across the island.

03

Buy local

Shops, services, makers — physical or not. Spending local counts.

04

Attend events

Show up to what’s happening in the community.

05

Host an event

Put something on and bring people together.

06

Refer friends

Introduce someone new to the Collective.

07

Post a gig

Offer or take on local work.

The more you’re in it,
the more it opens.

Your membership is the entry level. Everything after is earned by taking part — never by spending your way in.

01
Level 01

Access

You’ve arrived.

Your membership is the doorway. You start seeing places differently — the small marks, the signals, the things that were always there.

What you could open

The Key map, and your first open doors. Examples: a welcome pour, a free class pass, a first-visit discount at a local shop.

02
Level 02

Insider

You’re paying attention.

You show up. You return. The island starts to recognise you. Small kindnesses begin to appear without being asked for.

What you could open

Recognition from the businesses you frequent. Examples: a members-only price at your salon, priority booking with a contractor, a standing perk from your regular café.

03
Level 03

Connector

You bring people together.

You introduce friends to the island. You attend, host, contribute. The community now opens at your pace, not its own.

What you could open

Access you can share. Examples: guest passes to a studio, a realtor’s off-market preview, a caterer holding a date for you, curated introductions to other members.

04
Level 04

Ambassador

You’re part of the texture now.

Local life runs a little smoother because you’re in it. You support businesses, neighbours, foundations. Coronado has learned to lean on you.

What you could open

The things businesses save for their most valued locals. Examples: a reserved table Thu–Sun, a complimentary service add-on, an advisor’s private consult, first look at new inventory.

05
Level 05 · By invitation

Inner Circle

You are the room.

A very small group. By invitation only. The most carefully held experiences of the island happen here — and stay here.

What you could open

Everything a business can open — most of it never advertised. The invitation-only dinners, the founder’s-list access, the favours that only exist between people who know each other.

A note

Levels are never displayed publicly. Nobody sees your level but you. No badges. No leaderboard.

§ 10.4 — Start with a Resident membership

Connection
creates access.

The Resident membership is your entry. $15/month, one months free. The Key starts the moment you show up somewhere participating.
